महावीर जयन्ती पर लोकनायक अणे का भाषण। वे कहते हैं कि महावीर के समय यज्ञों में हिंसा फैली थी, जिसे उनके उपदेश ने रोका और मांसाहार घटाया। जैनधर्म में दया और अहिंसा का जो महत्व है वह अन्यत्र नहीं, बौद्ध देशों में भी नहीं। अन्त में वे महावीर जयन्ती पर सरकारी छुट्टी दिलाने के प्रयत्न का आश्वासन देते हैं।
