Reporting a mistake
Most of what is catalogued here was typed from printed originals that spell the same scholar’s name several different ways, so mistakes are expected rather than exceptional. Corrections are the most useful mail we get.
Send us the article’s link and what is wrong. If you can point to the page of the scan that shows the correct reading, better still — that is what lets us fix it with confidence rather than swapping one guess for another.
Contributing material
If you hold patrikas, journals or issues that are not in this archive, we would very much like to hear from you — particularly complete runs, and issues from the years our volumes skip.
We can usually arrange scanning ourselves, and originals are returned. Tell us the journal, the years and roughly how much there is.
If you are looking for a specific article that is not here yet, request it — requests go into a queue we actually work through, and you will get a reply either way.
Permissions and rights
For permission to reproduce material beyond what the terms already allow, or if you are a rights holder who wants an item withdrawn, write to us and mark the subject line clearly. Rights queries are dealt with before anything else in the inbox.
Trouble signing in
Sign-in codes arrive by email and are valid for a few minutes. If one has not appeared, check the spam folder first — a six-digit code from a new sender is exactly what a spam filter dislikes.
If it still does not arrive, write to us from the address you are trying to use, and say so. That way we can look at the right account.
