लेखक खेद प्रकट करते हैं कि सर्वोदयी जैन धर्म के ‘ठेकेदार’ विवादों में उलझकर जैनत्व खो रहे हैं। वे अनेकान्त और स्याद्वाद को धर्म की जड़ बताते हुए समता और सहिष्णुता अपनाने का आग्रह करते हैं। सद्भूत व्यवहार नय को निश्चय नय का समर्थक बताकर वे कहते हैं कि संसारी जीव के लिए दोनों नय यथास्थिति ग्राह्य हैं।
