लेखक झालावाड़ (राजस्थान) के निकट प्राचीन जल-दुर्ग गागरोन की दीवारों और खण्डहरों में मिली अप्रकाशित जैन प्रतिमाओं का परिचय देते हैं। भैरवपोल के पास बुर्ज में चुनी पद्मासन महावीर प्रतिमा के आभामण्डल, सिंह लाञ्छन और लघु जिन-आकृतियों का वर्णन है। निष्कर्ष है कि यहाँ कभी जैन मन्दिर रहा होगा, जिसके अवशेष बाद में दुर्ग में चुन दिए गए।
