जैनमित्रसे उद्धृत इस लेखमें ब्रह्मचारी शीतलप्रसाद गोम्मटसार कर्मकाण्डकी गाथाओं और टोडरमलजीके अर्थके आधार पर कहते हैं कि मनुष्योंमें उच्च और नीच दोनों गोत्रोंका उदय होता है और आचरणसे गोत्र बदल सकता है। कुलोंका भी विवेचन है। अन्तमें सम्पादकीय नोट सत्रह बिन्दुओंमें लेखकी अस्पष्टता दिखाकर स्पष्टीकरण माँगता है।
