इस कवितामें संसारसे थका हुआ भक्त भगवानकी शरण माँगता है। मोहरूपी गहरे समुद्र, तृष्णाकी प्यास और मानकी तरंगोंसे भरे संसारको पार करनेमें वह अपनेको असमर्थ पाता है और जन्म-जन्मसे भटकनेके बाद प्रार्थना करता है कि प्रभु उसे मोहके ग्राहसे बचाएँ, क्योंकि अब वह उन्हींकी शरण ग्रहण करता है।
