स्वामी विवेकानन्दके इन अनूदित उपदेशोंमें युवकोंसे शरीर और आत्माको बलवान बनानेका आह्वान है। कहा गया है कि निर्बल शरीरसे शास्त्र-अभ्यासकी अपेक्षा खेल-कूदसे बलिष्ठ बनना श्रेयस्कर है; मानसिक दुर्बलता ही सब दुःखोंकी जड़ और साक्षात् मृत्यु है। युवकोंको उठकर, जाग्रत होकर अपनी उन्नतिका कार्य स्वयं अपने हाथमें लेना चाहिए।
