Bhattacharya identifies the second half of an anonymous hemistich that Vamana quotes in his Kavyalankara-sutra-vrtti 5.1.11. He recovers the full verse from Janasraya's Chandoviciti 4.48, shows it to be a twelve-syllable vamsastha stanza, and notes that its source still remains untraced.
