हरकरे का कोश पाणिनीय व्याकरण के सभी प्रत्यय, आदेश, आगम और अनुबन्ध अकारादि क्रम से ससन्दर्भ देता है, जो सुबन्त-तिङन्त रूपसिद्धि में काम आते हैं; यह कमी अभ्यंकर के कोश ने ही छुई थी। भट्ट प्रविष्टियाँ जाँचकर चार अपूर्णताएँ गिनाते हैं और द्वितीय संस्करण से सुधार चाहते हैं। Harkare's dictionary lists, alphabetically and with references, nearly every suffix, ādeśa, āgama and anubandha of Pāṇinian grammar used in forming subanta and tiṅanta words — a gap only Abhyankar's dictionary had touched. Bhatt samples the entries, names four omissions, and hopes a second edition repairs them.
