Shelat's critical edition recovers an unpublished sixteenth-century lexicon by Rūpacandra from four paper manuscripts, only one of them complete. Ten vargas give a hundred and fifty synonyms and five homonyms in a hundred and twenty-three anuṣṭubh verses, arranged, she notes, at random. Betai praises her apparatus.
