एक लघु रूपक-कथा: सुनार सोने को गुंजा के साथ तौलता है तो गुंजा अपने ऊँचे कुल का अभिमान कर सोने को नीच कहती है। सोना उसे आग में साथ कूदने की चुनौती देता है। गुंजा उत्तर देती है कि संसार उसी को जलाता है जो अवगुणी होता है, इसीलिए सुनार सोने को अंगारों में तपाते हैं।
