Nilanjana Shah reconstructs the lost Sammata, a commentary on Panini's Dhatupatha, from citations in Sayana's Madhaviya Dhatuvrtti. She compares some two dozen of the Sammatakara's readings with Ksirasvamin, Maitreya, Kasyapa, Bopadeva and Haradatta, showing where he stands alone and where the other grammarians support him.
