कविवर बनारसीदासके इस कवित्तमें कहा गया है कि जिस सम्पदाको तू अपनी कहता है, उसे साधुओंने नाक सिनकनेकी तरह त्याग दिया। घेरेमें पड़ा जीव आँखोंके सुखको ऐसे सोचता है जैसे मक्खी मिठाई पर भिनकती है। जिसे पुण्ययोगसे मिली बड़ाई समझता है, वह नरककी साई है; जगमें एक क्षणकी भी साता नहीं।
