लेख सिद्ध करने का प्रयत्न करता है कि अन्तरिक्ष पार्श्वनाथ क्षेत्र श्रीपुर का मन्दिर राजा ईल से पहले विद्यमान था और प्रतिमा की स्थापना खरदूषण के समय हुई। कुन्दकुन्द की निर्वाणभक्ति, चालुक्य ताम्रपत्र, अकोला गजेटियर, शिलालेखों और चारुदत्त-श्रीपाल की कथाओं के आधार पर श्रीपुर और उसके मन्दिर की प्राचीनता सिद्ध की गई है।
