कविवर दौलतराम के इस पद में जीव पश्चात्ताप करता है कि उत्तम कुल, सच्चे देव, गुरु और सत्संगति पाकर भी उसने आत्महित नहीं किया। वह दूसरों को समझाता रहा पर स्वयं नहीं जागा, यश और प्रभुता का लोभी बना और विषयों में लिप्त रहा। अन्त में गुरु भव-भोगों में न रमने की सीख देते हैं।
