दक्षिण कर्नाटक के तुलु देश में जैनधर्म की प्राचीनता और कदम्ब, चालुक्य, होयसल तथा चौटर आदि जैन राजवंशों का परिचय देकर बताया गया है कि वहाँ कुल एक सौ अस्सी जैन मन्दिर थे, जिनमें कई नष्ट हो गए। फिर मूडबिद्री की गुरुबस्ति और त्रिभुवनतिलक चूडामणि बस्ति का वर्णन है।
