र. म. शाह अभयदेवसूरि (वि. सं. १०७२-११३५) की अपभ्रंश रचना 'वीरजिणेसरचरिउ' का प्रथम बार सम्पादन करते हैं। नवांगीवृत्तिकार की यह कृति अब तक जैन साहित्य के किसी इतिहास में दर्ज नहीं थी। उन्हें यह खंभात की ताड़पत्रीय प्रति में मिली; दूसरी प्रति नहीं मिली और यही प्रति अत्यन्त अशुद्ध है। R. M. Shah edits, for the first time, an Apabhraṃśa Vīra-jiṇesara-cariu by Abhayadeva Sūri of Vikrama 1072-1135, known for the commentaries on nine Aṅgas. He found it on palm leaves from Khambhat, has traced no second copy, and discusses the corruptions of that sole manuscript.
