मालवणिया पाँचवें अंग वियाहपण्णत्ति अर्थात् भगवती पर लिखते हैं। वे शुब्रिंग का मत स्वीकार करते हैं कि केवल शतक एक से बीस और पचीसवाँ मौलिक हो सकते हैं, दिखाते हैं कि बाद की सामग्री महावीर के नाम से जोड़ी गयी, और ग्रन्थ में प्राचीन तथा उत्तरकालीन दोनों स्तर मानते हैं। Malvania writes on the fifth Aṅga, the Viyāhapaṇṇatti or Bhagavatī.
