Kansara examines the relationship of the Paramara king Bhoja with the poet Dhanapala, using the Tilakamanjari alongside the chronicles of Prabhacandra and Merutunga. Munja had given Dhanapala the title Sarasvati; his later conversion to Jainism, and his outspokenness about it before Bhoja, run through the anecdotes.
