भोजक अपना पूर्व मत वापस लेते हैं कि प्रथम जैन हरिवंश के रचयिता विमलसूरि थे। उद्योतनसूरि की कुवलयमाला, रत्नप्रभसूरि का संस्कृत रूपान्तर तथा वि.सं. १५५६ की 'बृहत् टिप्पनिका'— ये तीन प्रमाण कवि बंदिक का नाम देते हैं और उनके हरिवंशचरित का ग्रन्थाग्र नौ हजार श्लोक बताते हैं। Bhojak withdraws his earlier attribution of the first Jaina Harivamsa to Vimalasuri. Three testimonies, the Kuvalayamala of Uddyotanasuri, the Sanskrit recast by Ratnaprabhasuri and the Brhat-tippanika of VS 1556, name the poet Bandika and give his Harivamsacarita an extent of nine thousand slokas.
