लेखक बताते हैं कि तीर्थंकरोंके बाद समय पाकर धर्ममें शिथिलता आती है, लोग प्रमादवश दूसरे मतोंकी ओर खिंचते हैं और जड़वादसे निरन्तर संघर्ष करना पड़ता है। धार्मिक पर्व संस्कार जगाते हैं। वीरशासन-दिवस विशेष है; इसे केवल उत्सव न बनाकर वीरवाणीके ज्ञानको प्रकाशमें लाने और साहित्य-प्रचारका ठोस उद्योग करना हमारा उत्तरदायित्व है।
