राजस्थान के बस्सी (चित्तौड़) के खेरादी कारीगरों द्वारा बनाई जाने वाली लकड़ी की कावड़ का परिचय, जिसे कावड़िया भाट अपनी यजमान-वृत्ति के लिए गाँव-गाँव लेकर घूमते हैं। आठ या दस पाटों वाले इस चलते-फिरते मंदिर के निर्माण, पत्थरों से रंग तैयार करने की विधि और उस पर लोकशैली में चित्रित रामकथा आदि के चित्रों का वर्णन है।
