The monograph under review is a revised version of Dr. C. R. Agera's thesis which was submitted for the Ph. D. degree in Philosophy, University of Delhi. This is a first critical and comparative study on conception of Faith, Prayer and Grace of two stalwarts viz Sri Rāmā- nuja of India and Kierkegaard of Denmark.

Agera's revised Delhi doctoral thesis compares faith, prayer and grace in Rāmānuja and Kierkegaard, nine chapters in three units and a concluding tenth. Shastri calls it the first such comparison, valuable for the little-known side of Kierkegaard it opens, and praises its notes, glossary and production.
