Bhayani begins his edition and Gujarati translation of the Samkhitta-taramgavai-kaha, the surviving 1642-gatha abridgement of Padaliptasuri's lost Prakrit romance Taramgavati. His introduction reviews the Satavahana court tradition, the uncertain identity of the abridger, and the sections of the tale, printing Prakrit and translation on facing pages.
