Bhayani's address to a Sanskrit conference argues that the teaching of Sanskrit must be rebuilt, not merely defended. Its philosophy, linguistics, psychology, geography, history, astronomy, medicine, law and statecraft hold insight the modern disciplines can still use; both sides have lost by the estrangement, and the remedy is scholarship.
