कृष्णकुमार दीक्षित महाभारत के शान्तिपर्वान्तर्गत मोक्षधर्मप्रकरण की तत्त्वज्ञान-विषयक चर्चाओं का विश्लेषण करते हैं। ब्राह्मण-परम्परा के शिक्षित पाठक के लिए लिखे ये अध्याय सांख्य की शब्दावली में ब्रह्मवाद और ईश्वरवाद मिलाते हैं तथा नवीन उपनिषदों के साथ सांख्यकारिका की ओर संक्रमण के साक्षी हैं। Dixit analyses the philosophical chapters of the Moksadharma section of the Mahabharata's Santiparvan. Written for a brahmanically educated reader, they mix Sankhya vocabulary with Brahmavada and theism, and stand, with the later Upanisads, between the old Upanisadic speculation and the settled system of Isvarakrsna's Sankhyakarika.
